Bars 1- 4 Main Riff in E.

The verse is an A5 (A power chord) for 4 bars followed by and E5 (E Power chord), over the main riff (exactly the same as bars 1-4).

Second time around following the E5 riff, we have A5 for 1 bar, B5 for 1 bar and E5 for 2 bars... Then we go into the chorus. The chorus is simply and E major in open position for the remaining 6 bars.

The verse rhythm can be counted as 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & and strummed accordingly. 

Rhythm Exercises (Strum Factory Week 13 - Rounds 1 and 2) will help develop your sense of rhythm and timing needed for this Track. 

Additionally, The Strum Factory Week 2 Round 3, Week 4 Round 1 and Week 4 Round 3 will prepare you for the end of the verse to the chorus (Bars 12 - 15) ("Its plain to see" part). 

For the chorus the rhythm and strumming is very straight forward, practice The Strum Factory Week 3 round 5 and Week 1 Round 1. 

It is good to practice strumming technique and rhythm patterns in isolation like this as you'll soon be able to analyse a piece of music and apply your knowledge of rhythm patterns to the music you want to play.
